Graeme
Graeme: Physics teacher with over 25 years of experience, who has worked as an HSC marker, judge, senior judge and senior marker. This experience has provided him with extensive insights into the common errors, omissions and misconceptions that prevent many students from attaining all the marks of which they are capable in HSC Physics examinations. He has developed study resources and delivered revision lectures and workshops for multiple providers over many years, and he has also been involved in the production of commercial HSC trial examination papers. A skilled and engaging communicator with a deep subject knowledge, like English, fashion, etc. Graeme’s lectures and workshops are valued highly by all participants.

Jessica: is a Deputy Principal and has been a HSC Marker for over 15 years, including her appointment as a Senior HSC Marker. Jessica has been presenting with InspirationED since 2014.

Magdy: has been a Mathematics teacher for more than 30 years, and is currently the Director of Personnel Services at his school. Magdy is a published author and has been teaching with InspirationED since 2012.

Michelle: is a highly experienced teacher and marker of senior English. She has previously been a Head Teacher of English and a Senior tutor. Michelle has been working with InspirEd for over ten years.
Neil

Neil: has degrees in (Science) Psychology and Economics, a Diploma of Education and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. He is currently Head Teacher Humanities and Big Picture (Interest Based Learning) at his school and works as a Masters of Education Methods lecturer for Wollongong University. Neil has extensive experience as a HSC marker in Legal Studies, Business Studies and Society and Culture. He was a member of the Legal Studies syllabus writing team, runs HSC student lectures and has authored to Preliminary and HSC texts. Neil has delivered Teacher Training courses in Humanities since 2018. He remains a passionate educator.

Paul: has almost 25 years of teaching experience behind him, and is the current Head of Science at his school. He is extensively involved in the HSC Physics program, and is a lecturer for the popular YouTube channel, ‘High School Physics Explained’. Paul joined InspirationED in 2017 to present and tutor students.

Sarah: is an English Head Teacher at her school. She is a published author of a number of articles and textbooks, and has been teaching for over 15 years. Sarah joined InspirationED in 2018 to present and tutor at lectures and workshops and has been a HSC Marker since 2013.

Shane: has been teaching the PDHPE course for over 22 years, including 15 of these as Head Teacher at a number of schools. He also spent 12 years as a HSC Marker, culminating in his appointment as the Coordinating Senior Marker for Sports Medicine. Shane has been presenting with InspirationED since 2004.

Suzie: has over 18 years teaching experience and is the current Head Teacher, Mathematics at her school. She is a current member of the MANSW Executive committee, supporting Mathematics education statewide and is a HSC marker. Andrew: (completing) has over 25 year experience teaching Chemistry. He has been an HSC marker for 15 years as well as 6 years as a senior HSC marker. Andrew is also a member of the CSSA Chemistry Exam Committee. Andrew has been with InspirationED since 2014.

Bruce has been teaching History for over 45 years. He is the author or co-author of eleven textbooks, and the recipient of three NSW Premier's History scholarships. Bruce has been a member of the NSW History Syllabus writing committee and HSC Modern/Ancient Marking team (including a stint as Supervisor), and is an active member of the HSW History Teachers’ Association. He is currently writing textbooks for Oxford University Press and also lectures at a number of tertiary institutions.

Elizabeth: has had extensive experience teaching all levels of HSC English throughout her career, including 12 years as an English Head Teacher and as Head Teacher Teaching and Learning, where her focus was on improving Literacy 7-12. She is a very experienced HSC Marker and Senior Marker and has been presenting with InspirationED since 2015. She is currently Deputy Principal at her school.

Hubert has 13 years teaching experience and is currently Head Teacher Mathematics at a selective school in the metropolitan area. He has personally mentored and built up the capacity of many other teachers to help them teach to the best of their ability, and is well recognised as an astute communicator in and out of the classroom. He has also been recognised by the NSW Department of Education as having been instrumental in creating an inclusive culture in teacher online forums, as well as modelling best practice to ensure ongoing quality of education delivery of students in NSW.

Joanne: is a Deputy Principal and Senior HSC Teacher/Marker and a HSIE teacher with over 20 years experience. Legal Studies is her passion and she has worked as an HSC marker, judge, and senior marker. This experience has provided her with an extensive understanding of what constitutes a quality response. She has developed study resources and delivered revision lectures and workshops with us over many years and was a member of the Syllabus Writing Team for the current Legal Studies Syllabus. Joanne has deep subject knowledge and will provide relevant, contemporary examples that can be incorporated into written responses.

Matt: highly experienced Stage 6 Chemistry and Physics teacher. Most of his teaching career has been in exclusively Stage 6 settings in Senior High Schools and Senior Campuses over more than three decades. He has taken part in the setting and marking of numerous HSC examinations across a wide variety of Stage 6 Science courses. Students in his classes regularly score Band 6 results in both Chemistry and Physics.

Nikki: With almost 20 years’ teaching experience across the Independent, Catholic and Government sectors, Nikki is currently a highly qualified Head Teacher of Science. In 2016, she was awarded the Premier's Award for Innovation in Science & Maths Teaching for her work in leading a number of STEM initiatives at Kambala, and in 2017 she was nominated for the Prime Minister's Prize for Excellence in Science Teaching. Nikki joined InspirationED in 2017.

Jane: is an experienced, highly skilled and passionate teacher of English since 1977 and has been involved in the new English syllabus for the Australian Curriculum. With her colleague, Deb McPherson Jane created a series of 18 online resources for Oxford University Press. These resources explore texts suitable for the Cross Curriculum Priorities. Jane is also an author of a number of English textbooks including the national award- winning Oxford HSC English. Jane has marked a range of HSC questions over almost three decades. In 2009 Jane received the Australian College of Educators award for her contribution to education.

Michael: has taught Studies of Religion for twenty-five years and has extensive experience as an HSC marker. He is a long-standing committee member of the Association for Studies of Religion and has planned and presented teacher professional learning in the subject across New South Wales. His professional qualifications include Masters Degrees in Religious Education and Educational Leadership as well as a Bachelor of Education and Certificate level studies in Gifted Education and TESOL. A former Catholic Schools Trial examiner, Michael joined the InspirED program in 2006 and continues to produce educational resources used by Studies of Religion teachers throughout the state.

Patricia: is a former HSC Supervisor of Marking and on HSC Examination Committees for Chemistry and Physics. She is a highly experienced HSC Teacher, holdings positions such as Head Teacher and Deputy Principal at both government and non-government schools. Trish is a Writer/Reviewer for several Stage 6 science textbooks and syllabuses and a Lecturer and Tutor in Science Education at University of Sydney, Macquarie University and Australian Catholic University. Trish has been working with InspirationED since 2015.
Rosalinda

Rosalinda: is a teacher of Business Studies, Legal Studies, Commerce and Business Services, with over 16 years’ teaching experience. She completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with the Diploma in Education majoring in Business Law and Human Resources. Rosalinda co-authored textbooks in the areas of Business Studies and Commerce and has written teaching resources for Jacaranda. She was a Business Studies HSC marker and has been the Convenor of the Business Studies Trial HSC Examination paper for the Catholic Secondary Schools Association NSW for eight years. She also lectures and presents at student workshops on HSC Business Studies.

Yang: is a senior English teacher at Marist College, Eastwood with more than ten years of teaching experience. She was part of the Moriah College English Department when they came 3rd in the state for English in 2017 and 9th in the state in 2018. Her students have consistently achieved Band 6s in the HSC Advanced and English Extension 1 course. Previously, she has been an Assistant Head of English, Debating and Public Speaking Coordinator and the Literacy and Digital Coordinator. Yang is currently studying a Master degree in Creative Writing at the University of Sydney.
