  Andrew

  Andrew: M.Ed, B.Ed Andrew is currently Head of English and has held Senior HSC Marker position s in all English Advanced modules and has spent almost 20 years as a marker. Andrew has been presenting with InspirationED since 2014 and is acknowledged as an expert in his subject field.

  Suzie

  Suzie: B. Health Science, Dip. Ed. (PDHPE) , M. Education (Mathematics) Suzie  has over 18 years teaching experience and is the current Head Teacher, Mathematics at her school.  She is a current member of the MANSW Executive committee, supporting Mathematics education statewide and is a HSC marker. Suzie has presented lectures for MANSW and joined the InspirationED team in 2018.

  Shane

  Shane: B.Ed, M.Ed, COGE Shane has been teaching the PDHPE course for over 22 years, including 15 of these as Head Teacher at a number of schools. He also spent 12 years as a HSC Marker, culminating in his appointment as the Coordinating Senior Marker for Sports Medicine. Shane has been presenting with InspirationED since 2004.

  Anne

  Anne: M.S., PhD Anne is a Senior Marker for the HSC Biology examination overseeing the Communication option with other Senior Makers. She is an experienced Senior Biology teacher of many years' standing and hastaught the syllabus across a number for schools. Anne is currently Head Teacher Administration at her school.  Anne is also actively involved in teacher education at all levels including supervising and lecturing at Macquarie University and, more recently, at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).  Anne has a Master of Contemporary Science (ANU) degree and a PhD (Curtin University) in Science Education Research.

  Jane

  Jane: M.Ed, B.Ed Jane is an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate teacher of English since starting teaching at Bathurst high in 1977 and concluded her classroom career as Head Teacher at Kiama High on the south coast of NSW.  Jane is a regular presenter at regional HSC student days including Dubbo, Tamworth and Griffith. Currently Jane is the NSW English Teachers’ Association project officer for the HSC student days. Jane has been involved in the new English syllabus for the Australian Curriculum. With her colleague, Deb McPherson Jane created a series of 18 online resources for Oxford University Press. These resources explore texts suitable for the Cross Curriculum Priorities.  Jane is also an author of a number of English textbooks including the national award- winning Oxford HSC English. Jane is also a regular presenter for the NSW Teachers’ Federation Centre for Professional Learning. Jane has marked a range of HSC questions over almost three decades. Jane has conducted video conferences with regional high schools and has worked closely with individual English faculties on programming and text choices. In 2009 Jane received the Australian College of Educators award for her contribution to education.  Jane is a regular presenter for the Centre for Professional Learning, a professional addition to the NSW Teachers’’ Federation.

  Joanne

  Joanne: Bach. Arts, Dip. Ed  Joanne is a Deputy Principal and Senior HSC Teacher/Marker and a HSIE teacher with over 20 years experience. Legal Studies is her passion and she has worked as an HSC marker, judge, and senior marker. This experience has provided her with an extensive understanding of what constitutes a quality response. She has developed study resources and delivered revision lectures and workshops with us over many years and was a member of the Syllabus Writing Team for the current Legal Studies Syllabus. Joanne has deep subject knowledge and will provide relevant, contemporary examples that can be incorporated into written responses.

  Laura

  Laura: B.Arts/B.Ed Laura has over 18 year experience teaching all levels of Senior English. She has been the Head of English for 7 years and is the current Coordinating Senior Marker for the Common Module - Texts and the Human Experience. She has presented seminars and produced resources for the English Teachers Association.

  Patricia

  Patricia: B.Science, Dip. Education, M.Ed Trish is a former HSC Supervisor of Marking and on HSC Examination Committees for Chemistry and Physics. She is a highly experienced HSC Teacher, holdings positions such as Head Teacher and Deputy Principal at both government and non-government schools. Trish is a Writer/Reviewer for several Stage 6 science textbooks and syllabuses and a Lecturer and Tutor in Science Education at University of Sydney, Macquarie University and Australian Catholic University.  Trish has been working with InspirationED since 2015.

  Rosalinda

  Rosalinda: B.Business, Dip. Ed Rosalinda is a teacher of Business Studies, Legal Studies, Commerce and Business Services, with over 16 years’ teaching experience. She completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with the Diploma in Education majoring in Business Law and Human Resources. Rosalinda co-authored textbooks in the areas of Business Studies and Commerce and has written teaching resources for Jacaranda. She was a Business Studies HSC marker and has been the Convenor of the Business Studies Trial HSC Examination paper for the Catholic Secondary Schools Association NSW for eight years. She also lectures and presents at student workshops on HSC Business Studies.

  Troy

  Troy: BSc, DipEd Troy is currently a House Dean at his school and has 25 years experience teaching Chemistry.  He has been marking the HSC Chemistry course since 2002 and has 9 years experience as Senior Marker or higher.  He was a member of the CSSA Chemistry Examination Committee for 6 years, including 2 years as convenor.  Troy joined the InspirationED teaching team in 2019.

  Warren

  Warren: B.Ed Warren has over 25 years of teaching experience at all levels of HSC including Mathematics 4 unit/Mathematics Ext 2 for 20 years.  He works at a selective school and is currently a Mathematics Ext 1 HSC marker.  Warren began working with InspirationED in 2016.

  Yang

  Yang: Bachelor Secondary Education/Bachelor Arts (English/History) Yang is a senior English teacher at Marist College, Eastwood with more than ten years of teaching experience. She was part of the Moriah College English Department when they came 3rd in the state for English in 2017 and 9th in the state in 2018. Her students have consistently achieved Band 6s in the HSC Advanced and English Extension 1 course. Previously, she has been an Assistant Head of English, Debating and Public Speaking Coordinator and the Literacy and Digital Coordinator. Yang is currently studying a Master degree in Creative Writing at the University of Sydney.

  Garry: B.Ed Garry has almost 20 years’ teaching experience, with 15 of these teaching the HSC English course. He is a valued Senior Lecturer and Presenter for a number of associations, and is currently the Head Teacher of English and Professional Education at his school. Garry has been presenting with InspirationED since 2014.

  Sarah: B. Ed, B. Arts  Sarah is an English Head Teacher at her school. She is a published author of a number of articles and textbooks, and has been teaching for over 15 years. Sarah joined InspirationED in 2018 to present and tutor at lectures and workshops and has been a HSC Marker since 2013.
