Becky Locklock is currently the Assistant Headmaster (Academic) at Sydney Grammar School.
She was born and educated in England. She taught mathematics in secondary schools in the United Kingdom for thirteen years and was head of department for five of those years.
Becky moved to Australia in 2012 to take up the Head of Mathematics position at Brigidine College St Ives.
She then worked at NESA in 2016 and 2017 as the Senior Curriculum Officer for Mathematics. In this role Becky assisted with the development of the Stage 6 Mathematics syllabuses which were published in 2017.
Becky has returned to the classroom, teaching mathematics at Sydney Grammar School, where she is also the Assistant Headmaster (Academic).
She also runs Professional Development for teachers on the new syllabus, through the company pd4maths, MANSW, Cambridge University Press and the AIS and is a member of the MANSW executive.
